Richard M. Doerflinger

Richard M. Doerflinger is retired from 36 years working for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, where he directed public policy efforts for its Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities. He is a public policy fellow at Notre Dame University’s Center for Ethics and Culture and an associate scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute. He lives in Washington State. An earlier version of this text was presented at the October 2017 Cornerstone conference sponsored by the Washington State Catholic Conference in Tacoma, WA.
