Richard M. Doerflinger is retired from 36 years working for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, where he directed public policy efforts for its Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities. He is a public policy fellow at Notre Dame University’s Center for Ethics and Culture and an associate scholar at the Charlotte Lozier Institute. He lives in Washington State.
