Kamala Harris’s Husband Says Girl Dads Need to Fight for Abortion

Kamala Harris’s family says fathers of girls should vote for the vice president so women can have abortions.

“To all the dads out there, I would say: this is the time to really show your support for your daughters,” Ella Emhoff, the vice president’s stepdaughter, says in a short video. She appeared alongside actor Ben Stiller, talk show host Andy Cohen, and her father, Doug Emhoff.

“My vote for Kamala is an investment in my daughter’s future,” Cohen said.

“I agree, I’m right there with you,” Stiller concurred.

Doug Emhoff then shared how he “heard from Kamala right away,” when the Supreme Court ruled in June 2022 that there is no right to abortion in the Constitution.

He said he then heard from his daughter, Ella, who texted “essentially saying we need to fight.”

This is “not just an issue for women, [but] this is an issue for men and families,” he said.

His daughter shared her shock at having to “fight for our own bodies,” in reference to the direct killing of an innocent preborn baby.

She called on “men to step up” to “support” women.

While fighting on behalf of women is certainly a noble goal when it is directed toward the good, such as opposing domestic violence, it is anything but when directed toward evil.

Some commentators made similar points online. “I’ve been to abortion clinics and seen how they treat women, and I’ve looked a woman in the eye as she was gasping and moaning in the middle of her abortion,” Daily Wire reporter Mary Margaret Olohan wrote on X. “No girl dad should want that for his little girl.”

“It’s hard to imagine anything more repugnant and weak than a father who supports abortion and thinks it somehow empowers women,” John Daniel Davidson of the Federalist commented. “Men who love abortion actually hate women.”

What makes these men’s position worse is that they are supporting not just abortion, but essentially the killing of their own grandchildren.

Ben Stiller wants his 22-year-old daughter, a “feminist,” according to him, to have the right to do what specifically? End the life of his grandchild.

Emhoff and Cohen also want their daughters to be able to walk into a Planned Parenthood or order abortion drugs online and terminate their grandsons or granddaughters. That isn’t manly; it is cowardly. Real men fight to protect innocent human life. They don’t fight to make it easier to abort babies.
