Colorado Abortionist Admits Hard Truth Pro-Abortion Activists Won’t
This election cycle, presidential hopeful Vice President Kamala Harris and other pro-abortion activists have repeatedly alleged that late-term abortions are a myth. This narrative follows pro-abortion attempts over the past 50 years to gaslight the American public into believing abortion is a harmless “procedure.”
One of America’s most prolific abortionists, however, is confirming not only that elective, late term abortions are common, but also that they take the lives of innocent human beings.
Dr. Warren Hern has made a career of performing late-term abortions in Colorado. Since 1973, he has performed over 40,000 abortions on pain-capable unborn babies up until the 34th week, and possibly later due to Colorado’s lack of gestational limits. In fact, Hern once admitted to the Atlantic that he is “reluctant to acknowledge any limit, any red line.”
Hern has also admitted that he will perform abortions at such late stages for practically any reason, and not merely for medical necessity as pro-abortion activists often claim. Hern performed two sex-selective abortions because it was the mothers’ “choice to make,” as reported by the Atlantic. When asked if he would perform an abortion on a woman who came in with a perfectly healthy pregnancy at 30 weeks, Hern got upset and responded that “every pregnancy is a health issue.”
He also claimed that “the viability of a fetus is determined not by gestational age but by a woman’s willingness to carry it.” He even implied the possibility of birthing an unhealthy baby is enough reason to abort, stating that “abortion is a clear therapeutic treatment of the condition of pregnancy where the woman is not going to have a healthy baby.”
Perhaps most shocking of all, Hern recently admitted that he knows these elective, late-term abortions on pain-capable human beings are morally wrong.
“We have this ingrained, wired desire to support small, helpless creatures,” Hern told the New Yorker. “That is one of the reasons late-term abortion is difficult…”
Hern’s stone-cold admission that he performs barbaric late-term abortions on “small, helpless” babies in contradiction of his “ingrained desire” is morally repugnant, especially when considering the procedure he uses to destroy these innocent lives. In his own words, Hern often uses forceps to crush the skulls of living, pain-capable babies in the womb.
Hern’s disturbing practices and ethics confirm the truth that late-term abortions are real and that states without basic pro-life protections can easily become ground zero for the most inhumane abortions of fully-formed, invaluable human beings.
Hern’s experience and testimony corroborate studies showing that the overwhelming majority of late-term abortions are done for elective reasons, and not medical ones. But, and perhaps most importantly, Hern’s interviews and experiences have shattered 50 years of pro-abortion euphemisms surrounding abortion.
Indeed, one of the most prolific abortionists in America has reported the truth that the Harris-Walz ticket and Democrats continue to deny: Gruesome and elective late-term abortions happen all the time wherever we allow them in America. And if Harris and Walz have their way, that will be everywhere.
