Bee Chessman was born in 1994 in Hartford, CT and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. She received her MFA from the New York Studio School in 2020 and her BFA from the College of William and Mary in 2016. She has exhibited in New York and Virginia and teaches at the New York Studio School.

Bee paints primarily with oil paint. The human figure is central to her work and practice.
