White House Plans “Reproductive Freedoms Tour”
The Biden-Harris White House plans to start the new year with a “Reproductive Freedoms Tour” to promote abortion.
“Vice President Kamala Harris will embark on a nationwide reproductive freedoms tour to continue fighting back against extreme attacks throughout America,” the White House announced. “She will hit the road to states across the country in early 2024 as she holds a series of events that bring together thousands of people to fight for the freedom of every American to make decisions about their own body.”
Her tour will begin in Wisconsin on Jan. 22, the same date the Supreme Court of the United States decided Roe v. Wade in 1973.
The announcement warned of “extremists,” meaning people who believe in the sanctity of human life and who want to protect preborn babies from being killed in the womb.
Harris “will host events that highlight the harm caused by these abortion bans while sharing stories of those who have been impacted,” according to the release.
“Extremists across our country continue to wage a full-on attack against hard-won, hard-fought freedoms as they push their radical policies — from banning abortion in all 50 states and criminalizing doctors, to forcing women to travel out of state in order to get the care they need,” Harris stated for the news release. “I will continue to fight for our fundamental freedoms while bringing together those throughout America who agree that every woman should have the right to make decisions about her own body — not the government.”
The Biden-Harris team has regularly sought to expand abortion across the country, sometimes even skirting around the law to do so.
This includes the creation of an abortion travel fund for military members, ignoring standing federal law that prohibits the mailing of abortion drugs, and attempting to use an emergency medical care law to require every state to give broad health exceptions for abortions.
The announcement is further proof the Biden campaign team plans to lean fully into the issue of abortion heading into 2024.
Meanwhile, pro-lifers must continue to fight to protect every preborn baby from the moment of conception to natural death — not because it is the politically right thing to do, but because it is a moral imperative.
Every preborn baby has an inherent right to life, and their human dignity must be protected.
