HOT TOPIC: PRESS RELEASE : the HUMAN LIFE REVIEW CELEBRATES THE PARTIAL FEDERAL DEFUNDING OF PLANNED PARENTHOOD

  “For too many years, the United States Government has wrongly permitted American taxpayer dollars to abet Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its affiliates in terminating millions of innocent unborn babies.  Federal law outright states that no taxpayer dollars shall be used to abort an unborn child.  Yet, the abortion industry has relied on its political machine of powerful friends, such as those in the secular media, Hollywood and in Congress, to circumvent this U.S. law by running various forms of deceitful public relations campaigns which underneath the surface have made the false claims that U.S. law does not prohibit the indirect funding of abortions – only direct funding.  However, in February of this year,  for the first time in our nation’s history, the Trump Department of Health and Human Services finally addressed this dishonesty and released updated regulations stating that no longer will Title X funds be granted to a clinic that provides abortion on site or refers teenage girls or adult women to an abortion provider.  This means that once and for all, when it comes to Title X funds, Planned Parenthood can no longer get away with their “trickery” accounting schemes.
